During the Saló de l’Ensenyament, which took place on March 13 and 17 at Fira de Barcelona, and in parallel to the presentation of its undergraduate degree programmes, UIC Barcelona has announced the new master’s degrees that will be added to the more than 60 postgraduate degrees offered by the University from next year
Two of the biggest new programmes come from the field of health, with the online master's degree in Palliative Care and Support Activities and another that comes with the bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, the Master's Degree in Cosmetic Science and Engineering . The first is aimed at graduates in Nursing, Medicine and Psychology and, the second, graduates in Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering.
Another postgraduate degree to be highlighted for its unique professional character will be offered by the Faculty of Humanities; Analysis, Documentation, Expertise and Appraisal of Works of Art. As the name implies, it is aimed at graduates in Art History, Fine Arts, Humanities and Conservation-Restoration.
Beyond these master’s degrees, this year UIC Barcelona is also offering master's degrees in Clinical Research, in an online modality; Rehabilitation and Sports Readaptation, another applied professional master’s degree, especially aimed at graduates in Physiotherapy and Sports Sciences, and Sports Management and Administration, also for graduates in Physiotherapy and Business Administration. In addition, only in English are also the Master's Degree in Cooperation, Development and Social Economy, which offers a double itinerary to choose from, between international cooperation and management of organisations with social impact.
These new studies add to the wide range of postgraduate studies offered by UIC Barcelona, both at Campus Barcelona and at Campus Sant Cugat. These studies are a sample of the commitment that the University makes to training beyond the bachelor’s degree and help to broaden professional and personal horizons.
